1. Is Utilyx free to use?
Yes. Utilyx is free to use with no mandatory subscriptions, payment walls, or paid tiers for its tools.
2. Do I need to create an account or sign in?
No. Utilyx requires no registration, password, or account creation. You can open any tool and use it immediately.
3. Are my files uploaded to Utilyx servers?
For supported file-processing utilities (including PDF manipulation, image compression, image resizing, and text formatting), files are processed locally within your browser using client-side JavaScript, WebAssembly, and HTML5 Canvas. We do not store or retain your files on our servers.
4. How does browser-based processing work?
Supported tools execute processing algorithms directly within your browser’s local memory environment. Data remains on your device, and temporary memory allocations are cleared when the session or browser tab is closed.
5. Does Utilyx work on mobile devices?
Yes. Utilyx is built with a responsive interface optimized for modern mobile devices, including iOS Safari, Android Chrome, tablets, and desktop browsers.
6. Are there file-size limits?
Because client-side tools run in your device’s local memory, processing capacity depends on your device’s available RAM and browser limits. Exceptionally large files (such as multi-hundred megabyte PDFs or very large image batches) should be processed in smaller batches for optimal performance.
7. Does every tool work offline?
Many text utilities, counters, formatters, and generators can function offline once the page is fully loaded in your browser. Initial page asset loading requires an active internet connection.
8. How is Utilyx funded?
Utilyx is an independent platform and is designed to remain free to use. It may be supported by non-intrusive advertising and other standard digital monetization methods.
9. Are third-party services used?
Utilyx incorporates trusted open-source client libraries (such as pdf-lib, pdfjs-dist, and jsQR) to execute operations in the browser. If analytics or advertising providers are enabled, standard third-party scripts may run.
10. What happens if a tool does not work correctly?

11. How accurate are the calculators and converters?
